One day, we took the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom out for a short walk, to “Catch The Moment”. It was a short 15-minute walk from Retiro/Mayon in Quezon City up to LRT Blumentritt, Manila. We thought it would be a nice way to show you around the neighborhood and some food strips that you should check out. But really, the goal here is to see how well it would do for recording videos since the specs looks very impressive as a vlogger or traveller’s buddy.
Its built-in 128GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM means that even without an external memory card, the phone itself already has ample storage for your high quality 4k and FHD videos. The video recording also gave us high quality professional sounding audio.
It has a built-in non-removable 5,000mAh lithium battery that can let us record high resolution videos for a long time. Surprisingly, the camera didn’t heat up during our continuous filming for the 15-minute walk.
With its built-in Image Stabilization feature, the shots were ultra smooth even when we were jogging.
The last two features that worked very well for our walk was the ASUS SuperPixel Technology which gave detailed shots, great contrast and colors even with strong backlight, and superb RGB Color Correction Sensor, which always gave us true and accurate colors all the time.
CONCLUSION: The ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom really lives up to its promise. It’s not just a camera phone made for people who love to do photography, but it also has high quality specs that will always give you great results all the time. It even lets you full creative powers with the ability to manually control the settings.
